Międzynarodowa Konferencja, organizowana przez Instytut Ekologicznej i Europejskiej Fundacji Klimatu, przy wsparciu Ambasady Niemiec

International Conference, Organized by Ecologic Institute and the European Climate Foundation, with support from the German Embassy

Warsaw, 28-29 February 2012

We have the pleasure of inviting you to the Conference “Greening Poland’s and Germany’s Economies - Exchange on Practical Business Experiences and Policy Frameworks.” The Conference will be held in Warsaw at the German Embassy on 28-29 February 2012.
EU Member States are facing the most severe financial and economic crisis in recent decades. With soaring energy prices, an often outdated energy infrastructure, and ever increasing global greenhouse gas emission, Europe faces other significant problems. These challenges are intertwined in many ways.
The aim of the conference is to discuss how countries can address these challenges in a manner that is mutually reinforcing. The conference will focus on practical business experiences and the implications of relevant EU policy frameworks. Polish and German businesses will present concrete, applied solutions to the challenges of greening their operations.
The conference will bring together between 70 and 100 participants from politics, business, non-governmental organizations, research institutes, and think tanks in Poland, Germany, and other EU Member States. The conference is being organized by Ecologic Institute (Berlin) and the European Climate Foundation. The conference is made possible by the generous support of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conversation and Nuclear Safety.
The conference will be held in English and Polish, with interpretation in both languages.
